Alloysius Attah II

Alloysius Attah II started Alloyworld - a web based business committed to using ICT to solve pressing problems in African in 2010, when he was twenty years of age. His experience in web design began when he joined a small group called upon by a former organist of the University Choir (Selasi Hanson) to form a web team for the choir in 2008. This has culminated in the current design of the choirs official website.

His passion for ICT for development (ICT4D) led him to form a strategic partnership between his company and Woman 2.1 (An International Women Summit that won a United States House of Representatives Congressional Recognition Award signed by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson).

One of his greatest achievements was when he led a six member team to the runner up position at the Accra startup weekend sponsored by Google in November 2011. As if not enough, his collaboration with Emmanuel Owusu Addai (an alumnus of this choir) for a project codenamed Farmerline has just emerged 3rd place in the West/Central African category of the Apps4Africa competition, winning $3000.

Alloysius is currently a final year Fisheries and Aquaculture student at KNUST, as well as a member of this choir. “He loves music, and all things mobile & web”.
